Thyroid Shield

Comfortable, easy to wear, inexpensive and sanitary single use
disposable shields reduce up to 60% of the direct beam between
50 and 120 kVp. Half the price of Bismuth shields but every bit as
effective at blocking radiation.

Barium sulfate is one of the least harmful and most effective
radiation attenuators. This is the same material administered during
GI procedures and is the sole attenuating ingredient in our new
environmentally safe Smart Armor Radiation Protection Eye Shields.
It is safe enough to dispose of in the regular trash with no special
handling required.
